It's Melting!!

So, our winter weather has been pretty rough this season to say the least. We are definitely sick of the cold and snow and are ready for SPRING! Why is it that winter always seems like it lasts for half the year?!?!

I never posted on this, so now seems like a good time. :) We came home to this craziness after our Christmas break. Boy was it a rude awakening after great weather in California and mild cold in Idaho. Our kind neighbors snow-blowed our driveway, which was so great because there is no way we would have been able to make it in our house for HOURS. Our house intersects with another street so the snow plowers pushed all that streets snow right on us! We felt lucky...

Addison LOVED being out in the snow. She kept following Derek around to where he plowed the snow and only staying in the nicely plowed areas. Derek tried to get her to play in it and she loved it to my surprise.

This is her after being made to come in to warm up. She was soooo upset. She loves being outside even when windy and below freezing.

The GOOD news is that this weekend it has finally warmed up above freezing and so we have melting going on! Yea!! The ice blocking half of the driveway is now gone and I can back out straight. It is awesome to see grass again and know that spring is right around the corner! Bring on the warm weather!
