Well, we have officially been in Omaha now for over a week! We headed out on May 10th after Addison's baby blessing and YES we drove with a three week old all the way here! It made for a VERY LONG DRIVE. She did pretty good, although now she officially hates the car seat. She cries almost every time we put her in it to go anywhere. We finally made it here late Sunday night and then moved in on Monday morning.

We are pretty excited to be here. This is our third state to live in married and our fourth place to live in. This time though, we are living in a house! We love it and love having so much more space! Omaha is very pretty, there are lots of trees and fields that are extremely green. So far we have seen several beautiful sunsets and encountered very nice people. We are excited to be here and start the last three years of school! More pictures of our house are to follow...
Thank you to all those family members who helped us move. We really could not have done it without you. It has been overwhelming enough to have a new baby, but moving on top of that was especially hard. We really do appreciate all the help that we received in the entire process!

Soooooo glad that you are there, and settled. I need three years to store up the energy to do it again! Thanks for the memories!
Glad that the move went well. I can't wait to see pics of the new pad!

I am glad the move went well. I can't imagine what it was like with a 3 week old. Cognrats on finishing your first year Derek and welcome to the midwest. We live on the other side of Iowa, right on the Mississippi, I think about 4 hours away. Maybe we will have to stop by and see your little one sometime:) Your little girl is so cute and I love her blessing dres..
Your house looks very nice! How spacious! Hopefully life will settle down now and you can get used to life with a new little one without the worry & stress of an upcoming move. That is tough, but you did it!
