Having fun with Dad

Today, my mom and I went to the grocery store before she flew out today. It was my first time leaving the baby. Derek watched her at home and this is what I found when I came back...

It is ingenious really! She was crying and wouldn't go to sleep, so this is what he decided to do. She loves being by the dryer since it is warm and vibrates! She also listens to the noise of it and falls asleep right away. It was so cute to come home and find her on the dryer asleep! Derek really is a natural father, very good with her already! :)

That is the cutest picture! She looks so tiny! Addison is such a cute little girl!

Good thinking to put her by the dryer Derek...babies love white noise like that! :)

BTW...I like the changes to your blog!

Now that is funny! Desperation is the mother of all inspiration. Isn't that how the saying goes?

That is cute and funny! It is also kind of creepy at how much she looks like Derek. I can picture a picture from the family photo album where Derek is a baby and it looks just like that (without the dryer of course). Good idea Derek! Way to improvise!

Clint came up with the dryer idea too, Camdon was in the car seat and it was hilarious. Camdon loves the sound of running water so Clint's mom bought him a noise maker and his favorite noise is the waterfall (He still sleeps to the sound every night). So you may want to invest in a vibrating bouncer chair (It was a life saver)! You can get them for pretty cheap and Fisher-Price makes a ton of different varieties.
