Weekend with the Parents!

This past weekend, my parents came to Pocatello to visit! We were so excited to have them come and see our townhouse and everything since we moved in around August. It was a lot of fun! Saturday we decided to go see the sights in Idaho Falls. It is just 45 minutes from Pocatello and there is a lot more to do up there. Pocatello feels quite a bit smaller even though I think the population is kind of close.

So we went up Saturday morning and saw "the Falls." It was fun to take a look and watch all of the crazy geese. Don't they know it is cold here and they are supposed to fly south?! We even saw one scrounging around for food which was pretty entertaining.

Then we went out to lunch at Olive Garden, which is one of my favorite places. It is one of the only things that has sounded good since being pregnant too (besides Taco Bell...)! After that we went over to the "BIG" mall and had some fun there. The men sure were troopers as we shopped for some maternity clothes. The only time they had fun was when they made me strap on "the belly" which shows what my stomach should look like when I am three more months along. It is oddly shaped and kind of embarrassing, so I was not too thrilled to be seen with it in a picture as you can see.

Saturday night we went back to our home in Chubbuck and watched a movie. Sunday we went to church and showed my parents around Pocatello a little bit. They were able to go see Derek's dental lab building where he has classes. After that my parents went back to Salt Lake to see my brother Dean. It was a quick weekend, but we were so glad they came to visit!
